Engine and Performance

The 2022 Ford Edge has more powerful engine options than the 2022 Honda CR-V. Horsepower ranges from 250 to 335 in the Ford Edge, while the 2022 Honda CR-V has a max horsepower of 190. The CR-V does offer a hybrid, something the Ford Edge does not, but it doesn't provide the entertaining performance that a Ford Edge does.

All-wheel drive is standard for the 2022 Ford Edge, but the 2022 Honda CR-V only offers it as an option on each trim level. All-wheel drive helps maintain the best traction and control on any Manteca, CA road, trail, or highway.

Interior

The cabin of the 2022 Ford Edge provides more passenger space than the 2022 Honda CR-V while having the same space for gear behind the rear row of seats. Balancing the space between passengers and cargo means you won't need to cramp your passengers with items on their seats. Interior comfort is a top priority for SUVs, and having a spacious interior is important for that.

Dual-zone automatic climate control comes standard in the Ford Edge, but you need to upgrade trim levels of the 2022 CR-V for it. Both models offer ambient lighting on some upgraded trim levels for a sophisticated and elegant experience whenever you get inside. Let us know the features you're looking for so that we can help you see which model offers them.

Technology

The 12-inch touchscreen of the Ford Edge outclasses the 5-inch or available 7-inch screens of the 2022 Honda CR-V. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are standard on the 2022 Edge, but the 2022 CR-V makes you upgrade for the same features.

The Ford Edge keeps rear passengers occupied with an available Dual-Headrest DVD Entertainment System; the Honda CR-V doesn't offer a similar system.

Safety

Both models come equipped with a wide range of standard safety features: the Ford Edge is equipped with Ford CoPilot360® and the Honda CR-V with Honda Sensing® Technologies. The Ford Edge comes equipped with BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert, but a similar system only comes equipped on upgraded trims of the Honda CR-V.

While both models keep you confident and safe, the Ford Edge doesn't make you upgrade for the feeling.
